My custom pieces usually start off with a conversation or summary of what a person loves. Then I create a layout that I feel embodies them. I usually get an image or idea in my head and then I do a digital layout of what I have in mind. Then I start with the prep work which could be cutting out pieces, painting, or putting together 3 dimensional parts. Then it all comes together!
