Jane Austen Quilling Workshop

I had the honor of teaching a paper quilling workshop for the second year at the Jane Austen Festival in Mount Dora. I had a lot of fun and I think my class did, too.

I used a tea pot stand alone card template from Cricuts Design Space (Image M1B969D6) with a digital paper from http://www.digitalatticstudio.etsy.com for the pot itself. I then created a kit using a quilling comb for the flower for the advanced version and a basic tear drop flower for the beginners.

If you’re interested in the Jane Austen festival in Mount Dora, you can visit their web site here for more information.

The inside has a pocket for a tea bag and space for a personal message.

Here are some pictures from the class…

Beautiful flowers! Aren’t the costumes great?
Another choice was a bonnet magnet…
Another choice was a Valentines card…
Such a fun group!
I love when they let their creativity loose…. See the heart shape?
Returning students from last year and their own touches…
